Happy World Book Day to us from Wales and West Utilities…

Yes, we know it’s necessary work, and they are doing the best they can, but somewhere behind all the machinery and trenches is our bookshop on World Book Day.
It was understandably a bit quiet, but we did bounce back a bit on Friday and Saturday.

We are looking forward to Easter, when the works will be over and the beautiful high street will be at its best again. One unintended consequence has been a form-of pedestrianisation that has really made weekends special, but then hindered the weekdays - food for thought, in the seemingly unresolvable issue of vehicle access with our historic town.
